October 13, 1943 Italy declares war on former ally Germany. Mussolini had been deposed & General Pietro Badoglio handled secret negotiations with the Allies.

Although it was the King who sacked Mussolini it was too late and he paid the price after the war by being forced to abdicate. He ought to have acted sooner, in 1940 perhaps.

Medieval Europe People were taught to cover their mouths when yawning. But why you ask? Because it was thought by opening your mouth wide would cause your soul to leak out & evil spirits to come in. Now it's just good manners.

I doubt they'll find her remains, but it would nice to be able to put her and her companion to rest by finding some of the wreckage.

Am I calculating right that that would make those objects over 4,000 years old?  That is unbelievable.

Are there British people who still identify as having Saxon blood?  They could make a case for reparations.  The French might pay but it might be in Casu mazu  (maggot-infested cheese banned almost everywhere but France I think).

The wooden boat has long since rotted away, but the cargo of pots and the stone anchors remain. They date from the time of the great pyramids of Egypt. It's thought the vessel was sailing from the Near East to either Crete or Troy hugging the coast most of the way.

Those pots will most certainly be carrying olive oil, as all of the very ancient ships found always are

It must be interesting to live in a place where artifacts that old can be found.  The best I've ever done is find "Indian beads".
