Prince Leopold, the eighth child of Queen Victoria born while the queen was under sedation of chloroform. The queen had nine children because she wanted to flood the European courts with her offspring, but she hated the pain of childbirth. She had her ninth child, Beatrice, while under sedation as well. Damn the politicians, physicians, & biblical scholars who were steadfast against sedation during childbirth. Prince Leopold had hemophilia & numerous other ailments before dying at age 31 after falling down a flight of stairs in France. His daughter Alice died in 1981, the last survivor of Queen Victoria's many grandchildren. Her husband was Gov-Gen of South Africa 1924-30 and Gov-Gen of Canada 1940-46. |

An unbelievable piece of marine engineering, which both we and the Yanks thought nigh on impossible from Japan. 72000 tons and could shift at 28knots, probably 30 mph. |

Dumping the colonizer, decades late. Rwanda has finally given Mother Belgium the boot. Rwanda gained independence in 1962, but Belgium has mostly controlled finances, politics, & the military since. The final straw came last month when Belgian diplomats were kicked out, something about its former colonial ruler undermining the ongoing Congo conflict. |

Defecating on the office floor
Spiking coffee with Viagra & Adderall
Jabbing an officer's penis with a hypodermic needle
Shaved his body hair of officer's food
Super-heated hot sauce in a microwave creating pepper spray like fumes
Things have sure changed these days among the not so thin blue line. In my day this was just normal boys will be boys' stuff. Bunch of sissies in blue today. The courts will settle this matter now. |

Sara Bush Johnson dies at age 80. She was Abraham Lincoln's stepmom who raised him after his mother died of the "milk disease" when he was 9 years old. Widower Thomas Lincoln married widow Sara Bush Johnson a year after his wife's death & together they had six children, three each. Sara recognized Abe's talent & thirst for knowledge & provided him books which was rare on the frontier at the time. Abe's father was a stern man who scorned his son for being "lazy." Abe called Sara "mama" for the rest of his life. |
