Correct, it was Turkish land handed over under a British mandate. Previous to that it had been Egytian land for thousands of years. It was taken as the spoil of war by Israel following the six day war. There has never been a land called Palestine, until Israel gave it up for peace, removing a few millions of their own people to achieve it. From that day on the radical islamic nutters have been plotting to take over Israel and exterminate the Jews, not just in Gaza but throughout the Islamic nuthouse. There is no dealing with Islam, as it is a supremacist cult and if you don't belong, then you don't belong on earth full stop, a fact the naive west will come to understand in the not too distant future. I say again, at the end of the day, Islam tolerates nothing but itself.

The only comfort we can look forward to over Galloway in Rochdale is that Labour will stand in the General Election only eight months or so away, so hopefully Galloway will be ousted. And of course with his record of outspokeness he could easily be kicked out of Parliament, these days anything approaching "hate speech" will earn an MP a suspension.

The boundaries of what constitutes hate speech are being diminished by the month, exactly what the left desires as free speech is their greatest enemy and one they strive constantly to subdue. They are winning the battle though as more and more parameters are introduced and for true free speech advocates such as us, it will be death by 100.000 complaints. It's distressing just how much that freedom we once had has already been severely diminished and it will end up with the instigators of freedom and democracy in court and our very own legalisms that protected our rights will be used to destroy us.

Putin seems determined to blame Ukraine despite ISIS claims. I'm expecting those arrested to fall from a window or get shot trying to escape, then Putin won't have anyone on trial who'll upset his plans to incriminate Ukraine. I'm half expecting him to produce "evidence" NATO was behind it.
