I'll stick to the theory that there was no actual rape, in fact I doubt if there was a crime committed at all. If the woman has made it up, as I think likely, perhaps the police are gathering evidence before charging her with wasting their time. You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.

Please advise. the offence was alleged to be in ‘the early hours’ which in this country means after midnight but before morning. She was also supposed to have been followed from a night club or some such boozer |
