The only arrests so far have been protestors who confronted the police demanding answers in the belief that it was illegal migrants who committed the rape. I'll stick to the theory that there was no actual rape, in fact I doubt if there was a crime committed at all. If the woman has made it up, as I think likely, perhaps the police are gathering evidence before charging her with wasting their time.

the offence was alleged to be in ‘the early hours’ which in this country means after midnight but before morning. She was also supposed to have been followed from a night club or some such boozer

this is a video that should be made compulsory viewing in the west. No other video I have ever seen spells it out on the subject of Islam better than this American expert.

Trump assures us that the war will be over quickly, he was saying that two months ago. Most of the other stuff he was promising has not transpired either - regime change, freedom for the people of Iran, unhindered access through the Strait of Hormuz. Badly thought out foreign adventures have seen the end of many world leaders, Trump is no exception, they never learn, him least of all.

The USA has obviously got the upper hand militarily, but cannot be said to have won the war. Like Putin in Ukraine Trump thought it would be over in days and reckoned without Iranian resistance. Who will blink first? Impossible to say, That Trump will get bored or spooked by rising prices and tumbling approval ratings is Iran's only hope and who's to say they're not wrong.

The US and the US people are just about sick of placating these barbarians and whereas Biden, Obarmy and Clinton were all mouth and no trousers, Trump has gripped the nettle. It had to be done and done quick before they got a weapon and the world might pretend there was no problem but they all knew nobody in the west was safe with a nuclear weapon in the hands of these freaks. Why shouldn't the US hold out? What terrible catastrophe has forced them to even consider it? What privations are they suffering as a result of flattening and hopefully freeing Iran? Let them play their games and believe they are somehow fooling Trump and he will collapse but the next stage is coming and the screw will get tighter and in the end they will be forced to submit, or force the army and people into removing them, including the political guard. There will be a thousand plots an plans evolving whilst Iran's leaders play games and it's going to end badly for them. Trump's only playing games so that the world will think he's somehow trying to open ways forward. No he's not, I think he's arming opposition groups for when the shit hits the fan and an uprising takes place.
