For some, I'm sure those are words of comfort; for other, not so much I think.

The people are now demanding answers as to why this happened for the 3rd time now causing deaths each time. The first mistake was building houses, camp grounds and children's camp on a flood plain that has flooded before and with the area having gone without any rains for months this was just a disaster waiting to happen.

A good point to be made here. During the California Fires in January Trumpanzees were quick to blame the Democrats for the fires following cuts. So is the lack or warning of the Texas Floods due to cuts by Republicans? I expect bluster/answers along party lines.  

When Randolph Churchill was confined to bed his friend gave him a copy of the Old Testament to read. His verdict when he saw him again was….. wasn’t that God a bastard? Seems he still is.
