It would, but at what cost? Surrender? There would have been peace if the USA had surrendered to Japan in December 1941, right?

Surely you understand the world's suspicions of Trump when he cannot find anything bad to say about one of the biggest tyrants in power today? Whatever Zelensky's faults they're nothing compared with the evil bastard Putin. 

As I've said already respect for the USA has gone to be replaced by a worried apprehension about what the pathetic man child will do next. Would you rather live in a world of friendly alliances or one in which everyone is driven to make a choice about which of the three powers to support. Make no mistake there are many countries that will throw their lot in with Russia or China simply because Trump is making the USA so unpopular that they think they'll get better treatment elsewhere. And when the time comes that the USA wants help around the world, and that time will come, you'll find far fewer allies willing to step up to aid the oaf you're saddled with.

What's all this deep state rubbish? The fact is that Trump appears to be aligning his country with an evil bloody tyrant simply because Trump is obsessed with power and strength. It doesn't matter to him if that strength is misused. 

He is presenting the world with a choice - pick a side, the USA, Russia or China. Some will pick the USA and hold their noses as they do so in the hope that once Trump has gone things will calm down. But others will side with China and Russia. Where will MAGA be then if over half of the world is buying Chinese?
