The problem in congress is not republican or democrat. It's "Gerontocracy" with most of the members being significantly older than the general populace. This is the oldest Senate in history with an average age of 64. McConnell is 80, Grassley is 88, Pelosi is 82 in the House. Head over to the white house where Biden is 79 & therein lies the problem. If there was a retirement age requirement the senate would lose 71% of current elected officials. Look at the current chaos with the 70 or 80 somethings charting America's future. 

In a way true Tommy but jouring their many years stay they have done a lot. Many also were able to work with the other side which now seems to be lost. A younger generation is needed as long as their not all like Margorie Tayor Greene, Matt Gaety and gun totting Lauren Boebert.

Obviously there are customs points on all land border crossings, but what about sailing across the Great Lakes to/from the USA and Canada, are there customs points in every small town on the Lakes, there must be hundreds of them?

Great news Mark. Trump was charged with contempt of court today for not handing over paperwork the court requested. He is being fined $10,000 dollars a day until he produces it. I don't have a problem with women with guns even if they weren't part of the militia group formed to protect your government from foreign invasion in the first place. I don't think a female in a very high position should be able to take a gun into a no gun area though and jump up and down when asked not to keep breaking the law by doing it.
