Re:TOURISM, Where would you like to visit Date Posted:2022-05-31 03:23:03Copy HTML Hey het hey, don't call this tight bastard a cheap sod. I have a rather good camera which cost me a lot of money but I hardly ever use it, mostly because I always forget to take it with me. I kinda went off photography once I gave up my old Canon SLR. |

Re:TOURISM, Where would you like to visit Date Posted:2022-06-15 06:13:37Copy HTML An old military friend of mine I thought caught this Cod in the Bay of Fundy near where he lives now but it turns out he caught it in Newfoundland where he originally comes from. He was a couple of years older than me and was the only one in Basic which could buy us booze legally when the age limit was still 21. |

If you want pics, just go to google images and put in Padstow, Lizard Point, Perranporth, Newquay, St Just, Mousehole and Porth, where I was staying. |

Re:TOURISM, Where would you like to visit Date Posted:2022-06-16 04:03:34Copy HTML I did exactly that and spent no small amount of time cruising the Cornwall coast. Lizard Point figured in a story I read, so that was a treat.

I'm watching a series on Crave TV about Halifax West Yorkshire and many of the scenes are shot in Shibden Hall there. The series is called Gentleman Jack, but Jack is actually a woman that dresses and acts like a man. Story takes place in the early 1800's. |

The costumes, scenery and life style of the period add greatly to the series. Shula would probably enjoy it but I think she can only get Fox news on her telly. |

Re:TOURISM, Where would you like to visit Date Posted:2022-06-25 07:41:24Copy HTML No, I think it clashed with something else. You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.

Re:TOURISM, Where would you like to visit Date Posted:2022-07-04 11:29:23Copy HTML Something that I wanted to watch in preference to Gentleman Jack. Oh ,get you now. It has gotten past the crazy stag here with so many movies and series to watch. I'm talking in the thousands with free ones. Besides on my demand channels and net works you can go from there to at least 10 other demand networks. I think the the last time I went to a show to watch a movie was in Germany in 1970-71 to see Waterloo with a Canadian, Christopher Plummer as Wellington. It had all the big actors of the time in it. |
