Yes and the moderate Republicans are hoping he will lose to the Demo because if he gets in, he can't be trusted not to dicky with the 2024 election results. Your talking about one State over aren't you Tommy. Starts with P. Yes, named after William Penn & they even have a cheap cigar named after him. BTW, it is only 10 miles from the Tall Dog. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2022-05-20 03:15:25Copy HTML Former President Donald Trump called for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's execution for treason, she claims. Benson, who serves as Michigan's top election official, said she received a "surreal" piece of information from an inside source from the White House that the then president suggested she be arrested for treason and executed for her refusal to overturn the results confirming that President Joe Biden carried the state in the 2020 election. "It was surreal and I felt sad," Benson told NBC in a story published Thursday. "It certainly amplified the heightened sense of anxiety, stress, and uncertainty of that time, which I still feel in many ways, because it showed there was no bottom to how far [Trump] and his supporters were willing to stoop to overturn or discredit a legitimate election," she continued. "It was surreal and I felt sad," Benson told NBC in a story published Thursday. On Dec. 7, 2020, armed protesters showed up outside Benson's home to dispute her handling of the 2020 election results. Benson and her 4-year-old son had just finished decorating their home for Christmas, she said at the time. More than 250 countywide audits of Michigan's 2020 election results confirmed the election results, Benson said in March 2021. Benson, who is seeking reelection, faces a challenge from Republican Kristina Karamo, who has echoed Trump's claims about the 2020 election being stolen. Trump and his campaign lost dozens of legal challenges that alleged widespread voter fraud despite officials' reassurances that the election was secure. The Washington Examiner reached out to Benson and Trump for comment. So you see Tommy the Republicans are destroying themselves from within by picking runners like Karamo. They have to learn to get off Trumps the fools tit or they will have another 4 years of looking stupid. |

Don't think so, Art. John & Mary Lunchbucket's weekly cost for essentials like groceries, gas, & the like, coupled with Biden's bumbling speeches will be the undoing. Like James Carville said years ago, "it's the economy stupid" that still rings true today. Biden claims that he created 5 million new jobs & Mary Lunchbucket has three of them & still can't pay her rent. Of course it is a long way until the midterm elections & things could turn around, but that is unlikely. Meanwhile Pete drones on about Trump & his endorsements. |

A pandemic that Trump was doing little about and if it had been left up to him there would be over 2 millions Americans dead from it. A higher crime rate also causes by the pandemic with people looking to crime to make money. The country at a stand still with nobody working. A war in Ukraine that could spell over any day to your own country, high unemployment, world fuel storages. The world supply train also at a complete stop. None of these problems were caused by Biden and the best anyone can do right now is put band-aids on them because there is no quick fix to any of it. The stock market has also hit an all time high since Biden took office. Not his fault that it dropped now. The only question you should be asking yourself is, what would things be like now if Trump had won the 2020 election? |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2022-05-21 08:32:41Copy HTML The Sussman trial is presently underway, he being the one who was spreading the fake Trump Russia collusion story to the FBI on behalf of Clinton. There's always going to be a problem with this trial, no matter what the evidence and that's the fact that three of the jurists were found to be Clinton campaign donors yet the judge decided not to exclude them on that basis, which is pretty bizarre if you ask me. Add to that an AO Cortez donor (rabid left) Clinto supporter. Not finished yet, another juror's daughter is a friend of Sussman's daughter and they play on the same sports team together. |

The Facetious Tommy You mean all than money Trump spent on building a wall and using the military like slaves to build it and their budget money also never stopped the illegals then? What a waste of money that was. A wall to nowhere. Sure sucked you weak minded Republicans in, didn't he. Thought it was going to stop the drug trade and everything. It hasn't even managed to slow down the tunnel digging. Texas should be given back to the Mexicans, it's their land so how can you be an illegal in your own land. Re:Politics Date Posted:2022-05-24 06:32:10Copy HTML The Sussman trial continues to undo Clinton's devious ways. The Clinton campaign witness yesterday confirmed that she was behind the fake Russia collusion story. Last week her Campaign Manager, Robby Mook, said under oath that Hillary gave the approval to push the Trump Russia Alfa Bank story that they all knew was pure invention. Yesterday it was reported in the courtroom by John Durham’s team that the FBI knowingly passed along the faulty information from the Hillary campaign to fellow workers claiming it was from the DOJ while hiding the fact that it came from the Hillary gang. Sussmann and Hillary Clinton by proxy weren’t the only ones lying, according to documents presented by the Durham investigators, the FBI lied about the Alfa Bank smear’s provenance, telling agents it had come from the DOJ when in reality, Sussmann had brought it directly to the FBI, with the leadership being aware of its origins as badly done political opposition research, which the FBI purposely misrepresented the situation by using a false DOJ referral to make it seem as if the Alfa Bank had come from an anonymous third party. In reality, it came from Hillary Clinton, and the FBI was well aware of who had told them the information and his connections to her campaign. More dreamland stuff for you Pete. |

To the Russians joy, some of the Republicans voted against it. One of them was the blonde bimbo Margorie Greene. How un-American is that to not want to bring one of your own home. More details Ok doubting Tom here it is. When he was finally home he went on CNN and talked about the harse conditions he was kept in and then went after Greene saying she and some of the other Republicans were against the swop. The Russian cops only where hard on him when they found out he was an American and decided to rough him up. After that they charged him with fighting back with the cops but I quess he was the only one marked up. He said the Russians seemed to know that not all Americans were for the swop and it was him that accused the Republicans include Greene which he mentioned by name of being UN-American. She hasn't voted to pass any bill put forward from both parties since she has been in Washington. WASHINGTON, April 27 (Reuters) - The United States and Russia swapped prisoners on Wednesday amid their most tense relations in decades over the war in Ukraine, with former U.S. Marine Trevor Reed released in exchange for Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko. The swap was not part of broader diplomatic talks and did not represent an American change in approach on Ukraine, U.S. officials said. Russian-American ties have been at their worst since the Cold War era following Russia's Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine and subsequent Western sanctions imposed on Moscow. Reed, from Texas, was expected to arrive back in the United States on Wednesday night, State Department spokesperson Ned Price said. Senior U.S. officials said the 30-year-old was in "good spirits." "Today, we welcome home Trevor Reed and celebrate his return to the family that missed him dearly," President Joe Biden said in a statement, noting the parents' concerns about their son's health. "The negotiations that allowed us to bring Trevor home required difficult decisions that I do not take lightly," Biden added. Asked later on Wednesday how he was able to raise the issue of Reed's detention amid the broader tensions with Russia over Ukraine, Biden said, "I did it. I raised it. I raised it three months ago." Reed was convicted in Russia in 2019 of endangering the lives of two police officers while drunk on a visit to Moscow. The United States called his trial a "theater of the absurd." U.S. officials said Biden commuted the sentence of Yaroshenko, a Russian pilot who was arrested by American special forces in Liberia in 2010 and convicted for conspiracy to smuggle cocaine into the United States. Russia had proposed a prisoner swap for Yaroshenko in July 2019 in exchange for the release of any American. The swap occurred in Turkey, and the United States thanked Turkey, a NATO ally, for its help in the exchange. Russian news agencies reported that Yaroshenko then flew from Ankara to Sochi and finally to Moscow. Rossiya 1, Russia's main national news channel, showed video of Yaroshenko's being embraced by his wife and his daughter, who was jumping up and down with joy, on the tarmac at a Moscow airport. Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken said they were working to free another American held in Russia, Paul Whelan, also a former Marine. Joey and Paula Reed, the parents of Trevor Reed, thanked Biden and others, saying in a statement that the "president's action may have saved Trevor's life." His father, Joey, later told reporters that they had two phone calls with their son on Wednesday. "It didn't sound like him (in the first call). The second call, he sounded more like himself. He must've gotten some fluids and food in him. He was cracking jokes," Joey Reed said. Russian state television video, played on CNN, showed Reed, appearing thin and wearing a dark overcoat, being supported on both sides by men wearing camouflage. Russia state media described the video as showing Reed at an airport in Russia. "He looks terrible to us. As his parents, we know he does not look well," Paula Reed told CNN outside their home in Granbury, Texas. "The American plane pulled up next to the Russian plane, and they walked both prisoners like you see in the movies," Joey Reed told CNN. Biden met with Joey and Paula Reed on March 30. The following week, the parents said that a prisoner swap seemed to be the only way to bring Reed home and urged the White House to take all possible steps. The months of tense diplomacy that led to Reed's release focused strictly on securing his freedom and were not the beginnings of discussions on other issues, senior Biden administration officials said. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said the swap followed a lengthy negotiation process. Russian news agencies reported on April 4 that Reed had ended a hunger strike and was being treated in his prison's medical center. The prison service said Reed had gone on hunger strike on March 28 to protest disciplinary action against him. Reed's parents said at the time that he had been exposed to an inmate with active tuberculosis in December. The prison service said Reed had repeatedly tested negative for tuberculosis. The Reeds said their son would tell his story when ready. "We'd respectfully ask for some privacy while we address the myriad of health issues brought on by the squalid conditions he was subjected to in his Russian gulag," they said. Biden said his administration will continue to work for the release of Whelan and others. Whelan has been held on spying charges that he denies and that he has likened to a political kidnapping. Whelan's family said they worried that the deal made with Russia on Yaroshenko dimmed prospects for Whelan's release. "Is President Biden's failure to bring Paul home an admission that some cases are too hard to solve?" they asked in a statement. "Who gets saved is the president's choice." U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, was detained at a Moscow airport on Feb. 17 when a search of her luggage allegedly revealed multiple cannabis oil vape cartridges. She faces up to 10 years in prison. |
