Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-08-31 11:25:00Copy HTML I agree on the "watered down" version of Trump, full Trump wouldn't go down well here. We all expect our politicians to embellish the truth, but to come out with lies and nonsense every day is beyond what we're used to. You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-08-31 11:26:20Copy HTML Iranian cyberattacks have disabled several U.S. water plants & a small British small gas-fired power plant in July. Security experts think the attack appeared to be meant as a warning from Iran it can disable critical infrastructure. I thought Trump had demolished Iran months ago, or so he tells us, yet they can strike in his own back yard. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-08-31 12:09:42Copy HTML Well, if you have one single bullet you can strike back. Don’t get excited by a couple of drones Mark, believe me the Iranians have much more to think about than the Americans. It is a slow strangulation without losing any of your own military. When has that ever happened in history? |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-08-31 03:12:10Copy HTML Trump's Department of Transportation shutting down 100 driving schools for not following the rules. Something about issuing drivers licenses to illegal aliens to drive tractor trailers. Seems like there have been lots of accidents with illegals driving big rigs when they couldn't speak or read English. Blames Biden & the 25 million illegals he let in the country. |

Mark makes a good point, but Trump parries it with renaming Gulfs, Lakes, & plastering his name on the Kennedy Center. The talking heads & social media addicts are not talking about Iran. Checkmate for Trump & his ability to "wind" em up. See Brit speak. |

President Trump told the truth. Illegals have caused fatal car accidents all over the US, |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-09-02 07:00:11Copy HTML It’s the same in Canada. Indians have taken over the transporting business resulting in diminished driving skills across the board. In cornering the market. They have their own mafia. Officials needed for a person to get a license are all of the same race, passage is assured. I’ve mentioned before about my brother working at a company where most of the Indian drivers of trucks could not reverse their trailers into a bay, one of the workers there would do it for them |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-09-02 10:15:20Copy HTML There's a great imbalance in our systems between public safety and incorporating people into jobs for which they are not qualified in the name of inclusivity.

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-09-03 01:32:39Copy HTML PM Carney was on the mic yesterday boasting of Canada's new global trade deals. Don't make me laugh, at the moment just about everything you make or produce goes to the US. I think the US exports about 2.5% of its goods to Canada and Canada exports at least 75% oe more to the US. It's not a war you can win and this continued flirting with China, like Turdope did, is a dangerous path. Did you know that the US has a trade deficit, an imbalance of trade with the world of one and a quarter trillion dollars? Can you blame Trump for flexing his muscles and trying to rebalance this a little more and everybody on the left screams he's a tyrant for trying. The Chinese and Russians just love these useful idiots and they come free of charge and the level of Chinese meddling in Canada's affairs is ringing alarm bells in the White House. The US has a negative trade balance with just about, if not every, country on earth. Like Britain before her the Yanks have become the world's unpaid police force whilst China gets quietly on with hollowing out the likes of Canada from within. From what I witness they haven't far to go and the population's suicidal habit of voting liberal is just music to China's ears. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2026-09-03 01:53:28Copy HTML Argentina are once more flexing their muscles over the Falkland Islands and I see them retaking them in the not too distant future and there's nothing we will be able to do about it, we will simply hand over the fate of the British citizens there to Argentina and hope they don't pack them up and ship them all here, stealing their farms and possessions along the way. Our armed forces have been starved of funds and recruitment is slowly disappearing and they are not fit for the job. Trump has just said to us, don't come crying to us, you wouldn't back us in Iran, what's good for the goose...... What adds to it is that the US and Argentina have been cementing relations for quite a while now. |
