A plethora of mass shootings breaking out over here in the colonies. Gun sales are at a record pace with more than 40 million recorded in 2021 & the grand total of guns in American hands stands at 400 million total. A Second Amendment & NRA dream come true which of course must make us safer eh? Yepper, when a bad guy sprays bullets in a crowded bar or restaurant, the good guys can whip out their guns & spray back. Only the unarmed will have to dive for cover under a table while the rest of us settle things like men. Now that is a vision which should fill us all with the warm feelings of safety.

In a shopping mall in Indiania a bad guy starting shooting people in the food court. A good guy pulled his iron & "offed" the bad guy with 10 well placed shots. The NRA has been telling this would happen for years. God, guns, glory.................Well I have to shower, load up my 7 pistols & I am off to the super market. I have been looking "lumpier" nowadays. Hard to conceal all those weapons of mass destruction on my muscular frame.

Oh, the good guy in Indiania was breaking the rules by "carrying" on the mall property. These places are gun free zones. 
Don't tell Art that. 10 well placed shots to take the guy down? Was he at one end of the mail and the the other guy at the other. He was lucky he didn't kill other people just taking the shooter out. They wouldn't be calling him a good guy he he managed to do that. I can remember Tommy going to a couple of bars in Arizona which had signs at the front door which said check your guns at the bar. Make me a bit leary even going in them after that. The guns behind the bar weren't just a gun hanging on a hook but  guns in cowboy style holsters. Was like going to the OK corral.

That's the point, Skippy.
That's doesn't mean we don't have any shooting carried out in Canada but they are done usually by the foreign gang members against each other. Sometimes it spills over and causes collateral damage to innocent people though.

Are the geese leaving Canada right now?  I think I heard a flock go over the over day and I thought it odd because I hadn't heard them for a long while.  I don't know if it's migration season or that was a flock of renegades.

Really Pete? That is the same thing going on here for years, see mud people. There are 700,000 licensed hunters in NY State, no fatalities last year. It's the bad guys who create the statistics.

Certainly in GB and the USA politicians in general are held in a lower esteem than ever before, as I see it mainly through lack of action in GB and divisiveness in the USA. None of the major parties on either side of the Atlantic deserve to get in. So where does that leave us?

Pete complained a few weeks back about those illegals dropped off in Demo central by DeSantis. He didn't condemn the liberal millionaire elites who had them shipped out immediately (if not sooner) No, he condemned the Repubs who complained about being burdened by the Dem cast offs. Once again, how many illegals live on your doorstep Pete? Meanwhile, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent two more buses filled with illegal migrants to the liberal “sanctuary city” of Philadelphia. The buses carried 72 migrants and arrived there on Friday, which now amounts to four bus loads. Are Philadelphia liberals ecstatic at this golden opportunity to parade their virtue? You know the kind Pete, the kind they expect everybody else too? It's all part of the charitable Texas plan of rehousing immigrants and graciously giving them to Dem states, who, as you know, support them fully. Strange though, as these Dem states don't seem to like it for some reason. Now I'm not a Dem so maybe you could enlighten me as to why Dem states object to this deliverance of these wonderful assets? The Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has said it is downright irresponsible and callous to do this unannounced and without coordination, showing blatant disregard for the sanctity of human lives. How dare he dismiss such a golden opportunity to take in and take care of these poor creatures, has he no heart?
