King Charles has clarified the Markle-Sussexes are definitely not working Royals.  I doubt this means the media won't be following them anyway, but at least their positions are clear now. 

It's four years today since HM Queen Elizabeth II died. 

Unambiguous clarity on the Sussexes position is what we want and the King has given us that.  

Victoria was very good. The actress playing her was a little too good-looking, but the portrayal of Prince Albert was just right, if a little too slim for him in his latter years.

I see William as a hope for the Monarchy, too.  He will modernize and tighten the ship, so to speak.  His biggest asset in my opinion is the Princess Royal.  If she lives as long as her mother, she will safeguard the Firm.  Meghan will try to upstage everything, but she will fail.  I expect my news feeds to be full of Meghan's demands on her children's school.  She has a need for drama and knows how to bring it on.

King Charles will never reach the level of devotion and reverence Queen Elizabeth received, but he is a good bridge for transitioning the Monarchy from the traditional to the modern.  I hope he lives a long life which will give William time to shape his reign.  

Two other unsung heroes of the Monarchy are the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh. They rarely get the headline jobs but are constantly representing the "Firm" unheralded.
