Let's have a new page for the UK and US Elections 2024.

Ours has been called early for 4 July. Labour will win and Sir Keir Starmer will be Prime Minister on 5 July ending 14 years of Conservative government. My guess is that the Labour majority won't be as large as some are predicting (over100 seats) more like 30-50 perhaps.

There are undesirable supporters in every party Mark. Here we have ONE man going after Sunak, the Labour party have thousands of Jew haters, which do you think is the worse? Frankly, this was a setup job he fell for and get the feeling something about this sting will emerge later but in the meantime let's just put this in perspective

I don't normally buy into conspiracy theories, once you start you can lose all sense of reality, but this one is feasible. I don't believe Channel 4 set it up, they'd lose their licence for such a stunt, I think it's more likely the man did it either independently or in the pay of someone else and he fooled Channel 4 into believing he was a Reform activist.

Well well, Mark and I have have covered the recent scandal concerning the new Reform party, where supposedly one of their candidates was caught on secret camera spewing racist remarks, which was first aired on the super lefty Channel 4 tele station here. Reform UK has now made an official complaint against Channel 4 over what they state is electoral interference after claiming the broadcaster used an actor as a 'plant' during what was an undercover sting. Adam Richardson, the Reform secretary, said in a letter to the Electoral Commission that it was entirely evident that a supposed Reform activist, filmed making a string of racist remarks was a plant within the Channel 4 News team. The man in question is a certain Andrew Parker and was a paid part of the Channel 4 news story, which if correct is nothing short of electoral interference, a very serious crime in this country. Reform is now demanding an investigation by the Electoral Commission no less, being the body that runs and polices the whole democratic system here. The man at the centre of this scandal, Andrew Parker has now come out and stated that he's glad Channel 4 is getting investigated for this. It's all a little crazy if you ask me

If Channel 4 did set this up then they're in serious trouble. I'll be magnanimous and say they knew nothing about this man, he did it of his own accord or was paid by an outside source unknown to Channel 4. I can't believe a national broadcaster would do something blatantly illegal.

Going back to the standard of Reform candidates, Farage has thrown several out today, so there is obviously a problem with whom they're recruiting.

Part and parcel of political party's. Remember when the Labour party was totally infiltrated by radical commies? Neil Kinnock had the task of rooting them all out but they're still thick on the ground, aided and abetted by Corbyn and his ilk. The Conservatives have a long history of nutters too, politics attracts them.

Apparently Biden is meeting up with his party and family today to decide his future. As mentioned, unlike us you lot can't shift Biden going for the Presidency again, only he can take that choice. I can tell them right now how to go about convincing the Biden's of anything, just offer him a bribe.

Say farewell to that old-time NHS religion. Labour leader Keir Starmer claimed at a recent debate "Never" when asked if he would resort to private medicine, but not so for younger Britons who have used private doctors for urgent medical needs. They even traipse off to Turkey for dental care. Source The Times

Any clarity on the Supreme Court ruling that a President is immune from prosecution for "official" acts? Does that mean that a President can commit murder and not be prosecuted? A dangerous ruling surely? Biden ought to be in favour, it indicates that he too will be safe if Trump wins and comes after him.

It's looking very much like Le Pen is heading for the Presidential Palace and the lefty's are doing what lefty's do when they don't get their way, they destroy. They held a large rally in Paris a few days ago and looking at the huge crowd I suddenly noticed something was completely missing..... a single French flag. Hundreds of Palestinian ones and a few Islamic state flags though. Isn't it a bastard when democracy doesn't produce exactly what you want, little wonder they had to resort to vandalism and violence.

It's not the Presidency that's up for grabs but the Parliament and the office of Prime Minister, Macron isn't up for re-election until 2027. We could see therefore a Right Wing Parliament led by a Centre-Left President for the next three years.

There are plans to employ tactical voting to keep Le Pen's party from gaining a majority, so yet another coalition is on the cards.

Remember Geert Wilders winning the Dutch Election last year? He never became PM.

In the past presidents have authorized mass murders, see carpet bombings & political assassinations. Nothing new here.

Election day today; which, oddly, is a politics free day in the media, they're only allowed to report the fact of the Election and what to do. All this will end of course at 2200 when the polls close and then the media frenzy resumes.

We're resigned to a Labour victory and Sir Keir Starmer will be Prime Minister tomorrow, the only question is how big will Labour's majority be.

How do you vote over there in the USA and Canada? A cross on a voting paper or on a machine, "hanging chads" and all? Here we use a stubby pencil, why a pencil I don't know, ink would be better as pencil can be rubbed out.

Voting machine? So it's counted there and then? Here we put it in a box which is carried away at the end of the day to be counted manually, hence the results aren't known until hours later; even now ten hours after the polls closed some results are still to come in.

Anyway, the result is as expected, a huge Labour win. The only positives I can take from it are - the SNP demolished in Scotland and George Galloway lost in Rochdale. Nigel Farage's Reform have got four seats, more than I thought but fewer than some predicted.

Some big names gone too, most notably former PM Liz Truss, plus Jacob Rees-Mogg and a number of Tory Cabinet Ministers.
