Canadians always flood the border town hospitals to get medical care, surgeries, etc. Long waiting lines up there & obviously their veterinarians are better than their medical doctors. Most of em carry private health insurance because their version of national health care sucks. And the dumb asses still think it is FREE!

I wrote on here many years ago about this very subject, when I concluded that what the Northern catholics say in public is a far cry from what they actually think. In the past the IRA had an iron grip over the Catholic community and let's face it, they were a terrorist organisation, the mafia all in one. No catholics dared speak their minds for fear of getting tortured or murdered by them, however the IRA knew quite well that any ballot on devolution would have fecked them right off as Northern Island Catholics knew quite well on which side their bread was buttered and that butter was British. They enjoyed massive British social security payments and social welfare, which they couldn't possibly have if they were part of the Irish state, not to mention the infrastructure investment, the vanity projects, the compensation culture and most importantly, equality under the law and protection from the IRA gangsters, who were just as brutal to their own as the Brits most of the time. So, those screaming the IRA doctrine would have had a different state of mind in the privacy of a ballot booth as nobody is going to shit on their own doorstep and most of the catholics would have reneged on the IRA and voted with their wallets to remain in Britain and the IRA knew that. They screamed for a ballot but had no desire for one whatsoever. Now? Maybe it's different, I don't know but if the catholics did vote for unification it might begin the troubles all over again as the radical protestants are just as evil, malicious and brainless as the IRA

I think the Princess of Wales is one classy lady.  Alas, the poor Duchess of Sussex has once again been the victim of racism.  In 2017, Vanity Fair featured Meghan Markle with the caption "She's Wild About Harry".  She first whined that the caption made the feature more about Harry and less about her but it was also racist because in 1930-something Judy Garland performed the song "I'm Just Wild About Harry" in blackface.

I've got a feeling that Charles will abdicate after ten years or so, I suspect he won't want to create a situation in which Prince William has to wait until he's in his mid 50s or older until he becomes King. 

What a convenience, what a splendid idea. Like our county "bookmobiles" which transport library books from town to town. Saves trips to dangerous foreign places like "Ham on Rye."

I'm with you Tom, he'll take it to the grave. If he thought along those lines he would have stepped out of the way in the first place but he wants the title for the power it affords him and Charley's always craved power for his pet projects
