Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-16 12:40:56Copy HTML Have you ever considered that Putin doesn’t want to talk or make a deal? I believe that would be President Zelensky of the Ukraine. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-16 02:17:42Copy HTML Putin is the one who doesn't want peace, or rather he wants to defeat Ukraine then he'll call for peace on his terms. Trump is either too stupid to see this or he wants Russia to win, I can't decide which, both are possible. I'll go with him being stupid and a plaything for the wily Putin who knows a political novice when he sees one. You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.

It is the Ukraine that does not want peace. I wonder, how much of the money that has been given to the Ukraine for their war, has gone in people's pockets. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-16 09:50:46Copy HTML What surprises me, Teresa, is that there didn't seem to be any requirement for accountability of that money from the Biden administration. Was it to be considered a gift? Or was it a loan? I've never heard what the money was spent on except for once early on that the Ukraine government could continue operating thanks to us.

I totally agree. Biden never said what it was for. The equipment that the US gave to the Ukraine could have been sold by their government. The money could have gone in people's pockets. |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-17 07:39:15Copy HTML More nonsense from the Sage of Tennessee. Why is the West supporting Ukraine rather than supplying Russia? Even Trump is allowing aid to flow to Kyiv, nothing is heading to Russia. And as we know Trump can do no wrong, so is he supporting the wrong side? You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.

The amount of millionaires now in Ukraine has gone through the roof, all courtesy of the west’s aid. They were recognised as the most corrupt, which is why the Biden’s dealt with them |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-17 01:26:00Copy HTML J'accuse all you want, Marcus Eruptus, but our system of government doesn't allow for a dictatorship, no matter what you hear in the news. Whatever our presidents do is either within Executive Branch powers or is challenged by the Legislative Branch in the Judicial Branch if deemed not to be. So if you hear a politician screaming that Trump is doing something illegal or unconstitutional but doesn't follow it up with action, then it probably isn't.

If the money is being funnelled to the "corrupt billionaires" how is the military holding off the mighty Russians? When you tote up the billions donated by the world, with no accountability, a hundred million siphoned off is no big deal. As for the Russians, they have a long history of ineptitude and when they borrow north Koreans, it tells you everything. |

Rather than falling for every anti-Zelensky story you might want to checks the facts. True, he bought a house for his mother-in-law in Egypt, so I suppose you could say he owns it. But he does not own any property in the USA. If you want corruption look at the Russian Election last year, the one that Putin "won" or rather rigged to make sure he won by excluding anyone likely to beat him. No doubt you're one of those lame-brains that think Biden's victory was rigged. Quick to condemn your own country on scant evidence but unable to see the huge corruption in Putin's Russia, Are you sure you're not a Russian agent? |

Re:Politics Date Posted:2025-04-18 07:57:00Copy HTML Trump is treading the path to authoritarianism, that's how Hitler and Mussolini began, by fooling the simple-minded that it was all in the national interest. Trump talks big on free speech yet shuts it down if the "free" isn't to his liking, Hitler did that. You're playing chess with Fate and Fate's winning.
